Want to check out Valpo's new viewbook? We've loaded a pdf version for you to check out at http://www.valpo.edu/admissions/eviewbook/ You can email or call us (toll free 888-468-2576) if you'd like a print version to review and pass on to a high school junior or senior you know!
I'd like to introduce you to our two newest Admission Counselors!
Ryan Turner, VU '07 Mathematics & Secondary Education, joined the staff in August. He will be getting to know students and VAN members living in the Northwest Chicago suburbs up to the Wisconsin line, Minnesota, the Great Plains states over to Montana, Idaho and Utah, as well as Alaska, Hawaii, and New Mexico. As an undergrad, Ryan played Crusader baseball, was a leader in Sigma Chi national fraternity, and served as an OA (orientation assistant) at FOCUS. Megan Marrs , a Valparaiso “townie” as we locals are called, graduated from Purdue University with a communication degree in December 2006. She was an active member of youth group, participated in student government, and wrote for the student newspaper. Megan will be working with prospective students in Wisconsin and the North Shore Chicago suburbs as well as with students in the city of Chicago. She's looking forward to getting to know our VAN members in those areas!
Numbers update: This information will be sent out when it's available after September 7th “census day”.
