Valpo Law Team Wins International Moot Court Competition
A team of three students from Valparaiso University’s School of Law won overall best written submission at the World Trade Organization Moot Court Competition in Geneva last May.
Valpo Law was among 18 teams representing law schools throughout the world including Duke and Georgetown universities, as well as Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, Spain and Canada.
Valpo team members were: Reid Hooper, a second-year law student from San Diego, Calif.; Kevin Gilmartin, a second-year law student from Rochester, N.Y.; and Isaac Ip, a second-year law student from Toronto.
Administered by the European Law Students Association, the competition offers students the opportunity to put international legal theory into practice.
