The board conferred the title of associate professor emerita in the Valpo Core on Katharine Antommaria-Ingham, and the title of associate professor emeritus of electrical and computer engineering on Daniel Goodman.

Antommaria-Ingham began at Valpo as assistant to the dean for student affairs in 1981. She is a graduate of Lake Erie College in Ohio and earned her master’s and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Pittsburgh.

Goodman joined the Valpo faculty in January 1985. He founded the Indiana Tournament for Academic Competition and designed the examination that was used in the team competition previously held at the university. He earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Missouri at Rolla, his master’s degree at Stanford University and his Ph.D. degree at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.
