Meet a Valpo Volunteer

Both native Hoosiers, he from Lafayette and she from Valparaiso, Chris ’98 and Tracy (Broadstone ’01) Dietel are new members of the Valpo Club of Chicago planning committee.

“We attended several activities and had a great time getting to know the volunteers as well as other Valpo alumni,” the Dietels said. “Based on our positive experience with these events, we decided that we would become more involved, including attending meetings and helping to determine future gatherings.”

Chris, an inventory manager, and Tracy, a Spanish teacher, agree that their favorite Valpo memory was being married on campus in the Chapel of the Resurrection.

“Being a Valpo volunteer is a great way to meet new people and to reconnect with those with whom you’ve lost touch. By attending events, you also can express your ideas for future events and be kept up to date about what is happening on campus and with other alumni.”
