Valpo ArtsMedia Releases New Music
Valparaiso University’s Chorale, Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Concert Band, Faculty Jazz Trio and music faculty have performed music newly released by Valpo ArtsMedia.
New recordings released this year are:

Live performances from the Chamber Concert Band’s authentic John Philip Sousa concerts are featured on this CD, including “The Stars and Stripes Forever” and “The Invincible Eagle March.”

The fifth album featuring the Chorale, one of the nation’s premier Lutheran collegiate
choirs, includes songs recorded during the ensemble’s recent international and U.S. tours.“Dona Nobis Pacem.”
The first recording produced by the VU Bach Institute traces the career of J.S. Bach and his legacy as the Lutheran church’s greatest composer.
“Kaleidoscope: Reflections on 20th Century German Organ Music.”
John Bernthal ’70, associate professor of music and associate university organist, performs works by German composers Paul Hindemith, Hugo Distler, Siegfried Reda and more on the famed Reddel Memorial Organ in VU’s Chapel of the Resurrection.
