Valpo Athletics Hall of Fame Accepting Nominations

Valparaiso University’s Athletics Hall of Fame is accepting nominations for induction into its Class of 2007.

Alumni, coaches, administrators and support personnel who had an outstanding athletics-related career at Valpo or who have made extraordinary contributions to athletics since leaving the university are eligible for nomination five years after completing their participation as athletes or ending their service to the university. Outstanding teams are eligible for nomination after 10 years.

Nominations should be directed to Mark LaBarbera, director of athletics at Valpo, mark.labarbera@valpo.edu. Nominations should include the nominee’s name, sport(s) and years of participation, achievements in sports-related fields and other supporting information.

The 10th annual Valpo Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet will be held Feb. 3, 2007, in the Christopher Center on campus.
