Where to Find Homecoming Updates and Changes

Should a change or addition to the homecoming schedule be made, information will be posted online at valpo.edu/alumni. Click on Homecoming 2006. Those attending homecoming also will find an update sheet in their registration bags.

Below are some updates that have already been received:

• The speaker for the Pre-Medical Arts Lecture will be Dr. Annette Schlueter '84, associate professor, assistant medical director of DeGowin Blood Center, and head of transplant services at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. The lecture will take place Friday, Sept. 29, at 3 p.m.
  in Neils Science Center, Room 234.
• The title for the Physics and Astronomy Colloquium will be "Diverse Career Paths with a Physics Major" with speakers Cindy (Thompson '96) Barnett, Greg Grossart '96, and Danielle (Boyd '96) Harlow. Each of these three physics alumni from the class of 1996 has pursued a different career path including science education, actuarial science, law, and Peace Corps. They will highlight their career paths and how a physics major helped to prepare them.

The colloquium will take place Friday, Sept. 29, at 3:20 p.m. in Neils Science Center, Room 224.
