Ann KesslerAnn Kessler is Assistant Professor of Theatre. Her costume design credits include numerous productions on the VU Mainstage and Studio Theatre as well as the past ten productions of the Young Actors Shakespeare Workshop. Other design credits include; LE NOZZE DI FIGARO, Univeristy of Michigan; GIGI, Theatre at the Center, Munster; THE IMAGINARY INVALID, Moorhead State University, Minnesota; ZOYKA'S APARTMENT, SLAVS!, IVANOV , UNCLE VANYA and THE DUEL, for the European Repertory Company, Chicago; and LES LIASONS DANGEROUSES, Shattered Globe Theatre, Chicago. Her designs for UNCLE VANYA received a Joseph Jefferson Nomination and LES LIASONS DANGEROUSES received a Joseph Jefferson Citation. She continues to to design numerous dance productions for the Flint Youth Ballet, Michigan, including THE NUTCRACKER. 

Prof. Kessler is also the Director of the Valparaiso University Dance Ensemble. Before she began her career as a designer, she spent many years studying classical ballet and various dance forms.  For the past six years she has directed and choreographed for the February Concert of Dance here at Valparaiso University.
