Soul Purpose

Soul Purpose, the liturgical drama troupe of the Valparaiso University Theatre, performs plays as parts of worship services in congregations across the United States between October 1 and April 1. In 2003-2004, the thirty-member troupe, under the direction of Professor John Steven Paul, will perform at churches in Indiana, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois. For the troupe's complete itinerary, including performances at the Chapel of the Resurrection, call 219-464-5213.

Theatre Outreach Performances

Theatre Outreach Performances (TOP) is an alliance of students, faculty, Valparaiso University Service groups and community organizations that are interested in using theatre arts to address social issues in educational settings. TOP presents plays and scenarios in which audience members are able to talk about the play with performers, both during and after the performances. Productions are presented for students from kindergarten to university, both within classroom settings and to larger groups.
