I hope that you also will have an opportunity to visit our campus, to become acquainted with our wonderful faculty and staff, and to become more immersed in what we often refer to as the Valpo Experience.

It has been my pleasure to serve as president of Valparaiso University since 1988. Much has changed during my time here. Through the generous support of our alumni and other donors we have constructed beautiful new buildings, enhanced our academic program, and strengthened our faculty and increased the resources available to them. Additional improvements are planned in the coming years.

Although much will continue to change, we will remain consistent in linking faith and learning as the core of our educational philosophy. In preparing our students to lead and serve in church and society, we seek to instill in them high ethical and moral standards while helping them maximize their intellectual development. We also hold our employees to high standards.
