ANNUAL RAE M. HUEGLI MEMORIAL LECTURE AND RECEPTION

The Rae Merritt Huegli Memorial Lectures in Health and Hospital Care were established in 1981 in memory of Rae M. Huegli, wife of the late A.G. Huegli, president of VU from 1968 to 1978. Mrs. Huegli was made an honorary alumna of the University by the Alumni Association. The lectures, supported by an endowed fund, are a very meaningful way to perpetuate her interest in health care and healing and to serve the University she loved and personally served through the years.

The 26th Annual Rae M. Huegli Memorial Lecture and Reception was held on Friday October 5 at Aberdeen Manor. Speaker was Phyllis Meadows, Director and Health Officer of the Department of Health and Wellness Promotion for the City of Detroit.
