Mathematics Summer Research at Valparaiso University
This REU site is well suited as a first research experience. We encourage applications from first generation college students, minority students, and women. Being committed to study mathematics at the graduate level is
not a prerequisite for participation.

Stipend
Each participant will be provided with residence hall accomondations on campus, and a $3,000 stipend.
Partial travel reimbursements are also available.
Location
Valparaiso University is located 20 minutes south of Indiana Dunes
National Park, which rests on the edge of Lake Michigan. Chicago's
Randolph Street Station, located in the loop, is only an
hour train ride.
Applicant Requirements
- Application Deadline: February 28, 2007
- Must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or its possessions
- Must be a full time undergraduate student in 2007-2008
- Must have completed a Linear Algebra course
