The Department of Mathematics & Computer Science is seeking applications for two tenure track positions at the assistant professor level, beginning August, 2007, pending budget approval.
Preferred applicants will have a PhD in applied statistics. However, candidates with interest and experience in actuarial science or operations research will also be considered favorably. Women and minorities are especially encouraged to apply. Teaching experience is valued.
Duties include: teach 5 courses (21 hours) for the academic year; continued scholarly activity; and service to the department and the University. Candidates should be willing to work in a scholarly community committed to Christian higher education in the Lutheran tradition.
