Bias in Journals
All journals and newspapers have a bias. It may be only in the editorials, it may be throughout the material, but there is always a bias. Learn to use the biases to your advantage, not to ignore them. By selecting sources that reflect a wide variety of biases, you will automatically acquire materials that address various points of view concerning your topic.
To find out whether we own a journal, search for the title in JournaLocator. If the title is not listed there, check in GALILEO. These are just a few of our journals with general notes as to their content, bias, or point-of-view that each can carry. Librarians have access to many tools that provide more information about journals; consult with them if you want to learn more.
