Valparaiso Law welcomes Prof. Michael Murray

Valparaiso University will welcome several new faculty members this fall in its School of Law.
Among those joining the law faculty is Michael Murray, visiting associate professor of law.
Prof. Murray has been on the faculty of the University of Illinois College of Law since 2005 and taught courses in art law, civil procedure, legal research and writing, international civil liberties and the First Amendment and censorship. He previously served on the faculty of the University of San Diego Law School and Saint Louis University School of Law, and was an associate at the St. Louis law firm Bryan Cave.
Prof. Murray has written several books and treatises, including “Adversarial Legal Writing and Oral Argument” and “Art Law: Cases and Materials.” He earned his law degree at Columbia Law School, a master’s degree in political science from Loyola (Md.) College and a graduate certificate in Chinese history and language from Fudan University in Shanghai.
