Valparaiso Law welcomes Prof. Peter Blum

Valparaiso University will welcome new faculty members this fall in its School of Law.

Among those joining the law faculty is Peter Blum, assistant professor of law.

Blum has taught legal reasoning, research and writing at Howard University School of Law since 2004. Prior to that, he served as a staff attorney with the Legal Aid Society in New York and represented indigent clients in criminal cases. Blum was elected to various positions in the Association of Legal Aid Attorneys, including trustee, vice president and health benefits representative.

He graduated from Brooklyn Law School, where he won the American Jurisprudence Award in Constitutional Law, and earned a bachelor's degree in political science from Dickinson College.
