Graduation day. In the course of a 90-minute ceremony all of your study and practice and sleepless nights pay off. You are no longer a law student. You are a lawyer.
That 90-minute ceremony may be the ultimate proof of your successful transition, but it's really not the proof that matters; it is the personal change you went through to earn that title - Lawyer. As a J.D. student, a student in one of our joint degree programs, or a LL.M. student, you will gain knowledge of the law. But you'll also learn how to think like a lawyer through analyzing legal problems. And you'll learn how to practice law by applying legal theories to facts. That way, when you step across the stage during that 90-minute graduation ceremony, you can be confident in your abilities as a lawyer.
