New Service Requests

Service requests can be made to the EIS Help Desk in several ways: in person, over the phone, via e-mail, or using the online service center. Several requests require ID verification and/or approval by authorized individuals via e-mail to it.helpdesk@valpo.edu. Requests for Novell accounts, G:\ drive access, organizational or departmental websites, majordomo list servs, and others require e-mail approval by authorized individuals within the department or by the organization's faculty advisor.

All student password reset requests require verification of picture ID at the EIS Help Desk located on the first floor of the CCLIR.

If your request concerns connectivity in your residence hall or equipment in your residence hall computer cluster, contact your residence hall Technology Assistant (TA). Use the online request on the Online Service Center so that your request reaches your TA efficiently (requires you to login with your LDAP username / password).
