As part of a joint project, geography students at the University of Missouri-Columbia (MU) and Valparaiso University (VU) prepared a series of biographical sketches of important geographers from around the world during the Fall Semester, 1996. The work, conducted by student teams on the Internet, contributed to Gail Ludwig's course, American Approaches to Geography, and Jon T. Kilpinen's course, The Profession of Geography.
