Graduate students
All graduate students are encouraged to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to qualify for the Federal Direct Loan programs, a major source of funding for post-baccalaureate students.
The Office of Financial Aid is committed to working with you to finance your Valpo graduate degree.
To be Eligible for Financial Aid, you must:
- File the FAFSA
- Be admitted into a degree program *
- Be enrolled at least 1/2 time (5 credits per semester)
- Be making Satisfactory Progress toward your degree
* you may receive Federal Student Loans for up to 12 months if you are completed courses needed to be admitted into the degree program.
