For Students

At the College of Business Administration at Valparaiso University, an internship is a structured and supervised professional experience in which an individual has intentional learning goals and earns academic credit.

Internships are required for all College of Business Administration students.

An internship integrates the strengths of a business education with the skills and training of on-the-job work experience. The internship experience complements and enhances a student’s academic training and provides a professional introduction to an individual’s career field.
