Most of the required courses for the actuarial science major are offered every year. Some of the advanced courses, however, are offered less frequently.

  • The introductory courses Math 131, 132, 253; Econ 221, 222; Acc 205, 206; IDS 110 are offered every semester and many are available in the summer.
  • The remaining introductory courses Math 264, IDS 111, CS 157 are offered every fall.
  • The advanced courses Fin 304, Math 240 and Math 340 are offered every semester.
  • Fin 330, IDS 320 and Math 493 are typically offered every spring.
  • Fin 410 and Fin 420 are offered every fall.
  • Math 344 and Econ 321 will be offered in the spring of 2005.
  • Math 341 is currently scheduled for the fall of 2005.
  • Math 342, Math 322, Econ 493, CS 325 and Actuarial Science 325 are currently scheduled for the spring of 2006.
  • Math 344 is also scheduled for fall 2007.
